This week our BMV is 1 Corinthians 13:4-5: ⁴ Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. ⁵ It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

This week is full of fun activities! But we are also working on:

Language Arts/Social Studies – our novel study on Underground to Canada, about the Underground Railroad and the end of slavery in the United States. This will lead into our unit on how minorities have been treated in Canada’s past. We are also working on our biography projects.

Science – we are finishing up our unit on Simple Machines, and the students have a Rube Goldberg Machine assignment due next Thursday.

Bible – we are continuing to work our way through Genesis, looking at Gen 6 this week.
