Welcome back!

I hope everyone had a great spring break.

This is our Poetry Month! So everyday we will be reading, analyzing, listening to, writing and reciting poetry.

On Mondays for the next four weeks we will be doing a Poetry Race where students will be given a poem and will be tasked with reading it to as many people as possible in a week. For every person they read it to, they will get the back signed, and return it for prizes the next week.

At the end of the month we will have a Poetry Cafe. Students will bring snacks to share and they will recite a poem they have memorized, and read a poem they have written.

In Science, we will continue to learn about the skeletal system.

In Social Studies, will be starting a mapping unit while looking at the different regions of Canada.

In Math, we are comparing and ordering decimals.

For Bible, we are practicing an Easter play for chapel next Tuesday.

The BMV is due next Wednesday. The spelling words are due this Friday.
